ABSTRACT:
BACKGROUND/AIM: Diabetes mellitus is a chronic metabolic disease associated with complications such as hypertension, stroke, hyperlipidemia, and heart failure. Over the past two decades, numerous studies have focused on discovering traditional medicines with potential antidiabetic properties. This study aimed to evaluate the antidiabetic and hypolipidemic effects of Solanum aethiopicum methanolic leaf extract in Alloxan-induced diabetic Wistar rats.
