Author Guidelines

NGR Publisher – Author Guidelines (Aligned with Scopus Indexing Requirements)


1. Manuscript Submission

  • Language: Manuscripts must be written in English only.

  • Submission Platform: All submissions should be made through our official online submission system.

  • File Format: Acceptable formats include Microsoft Word (.doc or .docx) or LaTeX.

  • Page Layout: Use A4-size pages with 1-inch margins on all sides. Manuscripts should follow a single-column format using Times New Roman, font size 12. The maximum length allowed is 30 printed pages; additional charges apply for exceeding this limit.


2. Scopus Indexing Compliance

To align with Scopus indexing standards, please ensure:

  • Originality: Submissions must present original, unpublished research with meaningful contributions to the field.

  • Abstract & Keywords: Include an abstract of no more than 300 words and 4–7 keywords that accurately reflect the study for effective indexing.

  • References: Cite up-to-date, relevant literature. The reference list should include articles from recognized, indexed journals to demonstrate alignment with current academic discourse.

  • Ethics: Maintain high ethical standards in all aspects of data collection, analysis, and reporting.


3. Manuscript Format and Structure

Organize the manuscript using the following sections:

  • Title: Provide a clear, concise title that accurately represents the content. Avoid abbreviations and jargon.

  • Author Details: Include full names, institutional affiliations, email addresses, and contact numbers of all authors. Identify the corresponding author clearly.

  • Abstract: Limit to 300 words, offering a clear overview of the research. Add 4–7 well-selected keywords.

  • Introduction: Define the problem, research objectives, and significance.

  • Materials and Methods: Clearly explain methods, tools, and processes to allow reproducibility.

  • Results and Discussion: May be presented jointly or as separate sections. Provide detailed findings and discuss their relevance in the context of existing literature.

  • Acknowledgments: Recognize financial support, grants, or institutional assistance.

  • References: Follow APA style. References must appear in the order of citation in the text. In-text citations should use the format: (Author, Year) or (Author et al., Year) for multiple authors. Prioritize current, Scopus-indexed literature.


4. Figures and Tables

  • Placement: Position figures and tables close to the point of reference in the text.

  • Numbering: Assign sequential numbers and provide concise captions.

  • Quality: Ensure figures are high resolution (minimum 300 dpi).

  • Consistency: Maintain consistent formatting across all tables. Use single spacing for tables and reference lists.


5. Originality and Plagiarism Policy

  • Original Submission: The manuscript must be original and not submitted or published elsewhere.

  • Plagiarism Check: All submissions undergo plagiarism screening. Any evidence of plagiarism or self-plagiarism will result in immediate rejection.


6. Ethical Considerations

  • Authorship: All authors must have made significant contributions to the research and manuscript preparation.

  • Conflict of Interest: Disclose any potential conflicts during submission.

  • Human/Animal Research: Studies involving human or animal subjects must comply with institutional and international ethical standards and be approved by relevant boards.


7. Peer Review Policy

NGR Publisher adopts a double-blind peer review process, ensuring anonymity of both authors and reviewers.

  • Review Focus: Manuscripts are evaluated for originality, relevance, methodology, clarity, and compliance with publishing standards.

  • Timeline: The review process typically takes 4–6 weeks.


8. Revisions and Resubmission

  • If revisions are requested, authors must respond to all reviewer comments with a detailed, point-by-point explanation.

  • Revised manuscripts must be submitted within the specified timeframe.


9. Proofing and Final Approval

  • Proofs will be sent to the corresponding author before publication.

  • Authors are responsible for thoroughly reviewing the proofs and returning them promptly with any necessary corrections.


10. Publication Charges

  • Publication fees apply upon acceptance, covering peer review, editorial processing, and open access hosting.

  • Additional charges apply for manuscripts exceeding 30 pages.

  • Waivers or discounts may be available for authors facing financial constraints or from developing countries.


11. Licensing – Creative Commons (CC BY-NC)

All published articles are licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial (CC BY-NC) license.

This allows others to:

  • Share – Copy and redistribute the material in any medium or format.

  • Adapt – Remix, transform, and build upon the work.
