Data Sharing Policy
The Nexus Global Research Journal of Medical Sciences (NGRJMS) encourages transparency, reproducibility, accountability, and responsible data sharing in medical and healthcare research. Authors are encouraged to make the data supporting their published findings available whenever ethically, legally, and practically possible. Research data may include clinical datasets, laboratory results, statistical analyses, questionnaires, diagnostic images, research protocols, software code, supplementary files, and other materials necessary to verify and reproduce research findings.

Authors are encouraged to deposit relevant research data in recognized data repositories or provide them as supplementary materials alongside their published articles. However, data containing confidential patient information, personal identifiers, sensitive medical records, or legally restricted materials may be exempt from public sharing. In such circumstances, authors must clearly explain the applicable restrictions in their Data Availability Statement.

Data Availability Statement Requirements
Authors submitting original research articles, clinical studies, observational studies, laboratory investigations, and other data-based research must include a Data Availability Statement describing the availability and accessibility of the data supporting their findings. This statement will be published alongside the accepted article. Authors should select the applicable statement from the following options and provide additional information wherever necessary.

1. Data are available in a public repository
Authors must provide the name of the repository, persistent URL or DOI, and applicable licence or access conditions. Relevant datasets must be appropriately cited in the manuscript and reference list.
2. Data are available upon reasonable request
Authors must specify the nature of the available data, the individual or institution responsible for providing access, relevant contact information, and any applicable conditions governing access or reuse.
3. Data are available from a third party
Where research data have been obtained from a third-party organization, hospital, healthcare institution, laboratory, or external database and cannot be made publicly available, authors must identify the data source, explain the access restrictions, and provide information on how eligible researchers may request access, where permitted.
4. Data are included in the article or supplementary materials
Authors may state that all relevant data supporting the findings of the study are available within the published article, tables, figures, or accompanying supplementary materials.
5. Data sharing is not applicable
Where no datasets were generated or analyzed during the study, authors may use the following statement:
"Data sharing is not applicable to this article, as no datasets were generated or analyzed during the current study."

Confidentiality and Ethical Considerations
Authors must ensure that shared research datasets, clinical records, diagnostic images, laboratory reports, and supplementary materials do not contain identifiable patient information, confidential personal details, or other sensitive information that could compromise individual privacy or confidentiality.

Research involving human participants, patients, medical records, or biological samples must comply with applicable ethical requirements, informed consent provisions, institutional guidelines, and relevant data protection regulations. Authors must obtain appropriate permissions before sharing restricted clinical or healthcare-related research data.

For clinical studies and hospital-based research, authors must ensure that patient confidentiality is protected and that data-sharing arrangements are consistent with the approved research protocol and applicable institutional ethics requirements.

The journal encourages authors to retain research data, supporting documentation, and relevant study materials for a reasonable period following publication and to facilitate access to such materials when appropriate, subject to ethical, legal, institutional, and confidentiality restrictions.

The Nexus Global Research Journal of Medical Sciences (NGRJMS) promotes responsible research data management, transparent reporting, and ethical data-sharing practices to strengthen the reliability, reproducibility, scientific validity, and integrity of published medical and healthcare research.
