Abstract
This article provides a theoretical and scholarly analysis of the creative heritage of Erkin Vohidov, People's Poet of Uzbekistan, and his role in national literature. The study examines the poet's poetic, dramatic, and translation heritage, the specific artistic features of his style, and his contribution to the development of Uzbek literature. Furthermore, the thematic and ideological scope of Vohidovโs work, the national spirit in his poetry, his philosophical depth, and modern poetic style are analyzed. The article highlights on a scientific basis the place of Erkin Vohidovโs works in Uzbek and world literature, their artistic value, and their contemporary significance.

1. Introduction
Erkin Vohidov is a prominent figure in Uzbek literature whose creative heritage encompasses not only poetry, but also playwrighting, translation, and literary criticism. The poetโs works marked a new stage in the development of Uzbek literature and helped secure a worthy place for national poetry alongside world literature. Vohidov's oeuvre is distinguished by its artistic mastery, broad thematic scope, and philosophical depth. In his works, he successfully harmonized national traditions with modern poetic forms, establishing new directions in Uzbek poetry. The poet's poetry collections such as "Oโzbegim" (My Uzbek), "Ruhlar Isyoni" (Rebellion of the Spirits), "Ishq Savdosi" (The Trade of Love), "Nido" (The Call), and "Tirik Sayyora" (Living Planet), as well as dramatic works including "Oltin Devor" (Golden Wall), "Abay va Margโuba" (Abai and Marguba), and "Ibn Sino" (Avicenna), have entered the golden treasury of Uzbek literature.
2. Conclusion
In conclusion, the creative heritage of Erkin Vohidov represents one of the most valuable treasures of Uzbek national literature. His poetic, dramatic, and translation works contributed significantly to elevating Uzbek literature to a dignified standing within world literature. Harmonizing national traditions with modern poetic forms, Vohidov established new directions in Uzbek poetry. Today, his works continue to captivate readers with their artistic quality and rich thematic depth. The poet's creative legacy serves as an enduring source of inspiration and guidance for the younger generation.
